GHS Painting is proudly owned and operated by Dave Nicholais. With over 30 Years of experience and a passion for his work Dave takes exceptional pride in transforming spaces with a keen eye and a steady hand. At GHS Painting we know only one way to do things, the right way, and Dave makes sure of that as he personally handles every job from the first brush stroke to the last. How We Work

Site Prep

We protect everything not being painted, drop cloths, painters tape and plastic cover every room. We also ensure all valuables and irreplaceable items are removed from the work area before we start.

Applying paint is the least important part of our job, for a quality result it’s all about the prep work. We repair all nail pops, dents, holes and imperfections then sand all surfaces using our state of the art dust containment equipment. We caulk and prime where needed then we go back over it all again to make sure there is nothing we missed before we even open a paint can.

Paint

We use only high quality, zero and low VOC, paints to ensure all our prep work doesn’t go to waste. While the number of coats will vary it’s always at least two on walls and ceilings to ensure even coverage. We use high quality brushes and natural wool rollers that don’t leave behind fuzz, bumps or lines.
